Tracy Han

Programme Coordinator - Leading Change for Good

Tracy is an organiser extraordinaire with project management roles spanning financial services, higher education and not-for-profit organisations.

After completing a double Bachelor’s degree in Business and Arts with a major in International Studies, Tracy joined Greenpeace to help recruit for and support the telesales team. This ignited her passion for helping people by smoothing out roadblocks and making things just work well. Her next role in financial services opened up her eyes to the commercial world and its hierarchical organisation structure - extending on her fascination with the psychology of organisations and the people within them.

Tracy joined The Mind Lab in 2019 as Programme Co-ordinator for the Master of Teaching and Education Leadership and has since migrated to the role of programme coordinator for The Mind Lab’s Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Change for Good and Tech Futures Lab’s Postgraduate Certificate in Connected Environments.

Her skills, enthusiasm and commitment to well considered plans that incorporate both creativity and pragmatism makes her a solid member of both programme teams. And her superpower of being an ‘ambivert’ gives her an ability to connect with all sorts of people and adapt to different changing environments, perfect in her coordination role at an institute where programme content shifts as factors in business, society and technology evolve.

Outside of the office, Tracy strives to bring cultures together through communications and shared experiences. She is actively involved in Asian refugee community initiatives and is always seeking new opportunities to learn and evolve her skills. Tracy was invited to be a New Zealand Voice of the Future (VoF) delegate to APEC in 2018 and is now part of the organising committee planning to host the APEC VoF delegation in 2021.

Tracy believes that a bright future holds the promise of inclusive and culturally responsive societies where all people can thrive and have equal access to opportunities in education, and business enabled by technology.
