Lorraine Guerin

Chief Technology Officer

Lorraine is a constant campaigner for the use of tech for good. In her role as Chief Technology Officer she heads up all of the digital platforms & products for The Mind Lab, Tech Futures Lab and Digital Boost. Passionate about the constantly evolving digital and tech space and the potential of connected environments, Lorraine loves being part of an organisation that is driven by purpose.

With experience managing and delivering all manner of digital projects & products, Lorraine loves to get hands on with tech. Her goal is to ensure our learners have an intuitive and positive experience when they engage with us in the digital realm – and find everything they need to help them on their learning journey.

As part of her role Lorraine is also a Lead Salesforce Administrator, ensuring our data and that of our learners, collaborators and partners, is well-organised and secure. She also manages all of our technical projects from start to finish and maintains relationships with our many development partners.

Before joining The Mind Lab & Tech Futures Lab, Lorraine worked in agency-world as a Senior Digital Project Manager in London and then as Digital Production Director at Saatchi & Saatchi – one of the most well-known agencies in Aotearoa.

With a Bachelor of Computing & Mathematical Sciences from the University of Waikato, Lorraine’s technical expertise is matched only by her excellent project management skills and multi-tasking ability. However when it comes to fame and acknowledgement, Lorraine is incredibly humble – preferring to operate behind the scenes (or behind the screens…). Her superpower is her ability to prioritise; balancing being a working mum AND a project management expert in the constantly evolving tech world, not an easy task by any means.

It’s this balance of expertise, experience, passion and love for whānau that makes her the perfect CTO for an organisation who prides itself on maximising the use of digital technology for a positive outcome on humanity.
