COVID Processes & Updates

Can't find an answer to your question?

The health, safety and wellbeing of all our visitors is a priority for us. If you cannot be vaccinated you will need to show us your exemption notice before you enter the Lab. You will also be required to wear a mask whilst in the Lab.

Please contact your Programme Lead or Advisor to discuss how we will be able to support you to complete your programme.

Public health measures such as scanning in, signing our H&S register and wearing face masks will be required and closely monitored. To keep everyone safe we are avoiding handshakes, hugs, hongi, high fives and fist pumps. Visitors and Staff are also requested to stay home if they’re sick, awaiting COVID test results, considered a close contact or identified as being at a location of interest.

Yes, all staff at The Mind Lab and Tech Futures Lab who are onsite, or interacting with any learners, are fully vaccinated. All others who will be on site will also need to show their My Vaccine Pass.

Our capacity will be based on 1m distancing, or any other limits put in place by the government. We have very large and open spaces and can comfortably fit our cohorts.

Yes, at the Red Level, it is required that a mask is worn at education facilities (including tertiary).

If you find yourself in these situations, please let us know. All visitors and staff will also have scanned in using the Covid Tracer App which will help with alerting any potential contracts, but please confidentially let us know by calling 09 964 4444 or emailing

Choose to learn online, as our programmes are primarily taught online. We will do our best to ensure any face-to-face learning experience is as similar as possible for those learning online.

You will need to show your My Vaccine Pass to be in the Lab. If you are not able to access it on your device and don’t have a printed version, we may be able to provide a device to allow you to access your pass. We will give you plenty of notice before your class, or visit to the Lab, to remind you that you need to show your My Vaccine Pass before entering the Lab.
