Symposium sneak peek and Q&A

We’re inviting you into our Lab to watch the final Change Project presentations for the students on our Master of Contemporary Education. Following the presentations you’ll have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with the programme team to learn more.

Event overview

Part one: Sneak Peak Symposium

  • At the end of the Masters programme (MCE) students engaged in the Part 3 Change Project, present at Symposium where they share their challenges, learnings and findings to an audience of their peers.
  • Each student has 20-30 minutes to present so you’ll have the chance to watch up to 4 presentations

Part two: Q&A session 

  • After the presentations, the programme team will share key details on the programme and then facilitate a Q&A session, so bring along any burning questions you have about the Masters!

This is an awesome opportunity to get a sneak peek at what our Masters students work on over their 2-3 years and get inspired for your own Change Project!

Change Project Topics

Here is a sample of some of the Change Projects that our learners have been working on:

  • Integrating Deep Learning Using an Agile Curriculum Framework
  • A ‘Skills’ Framework for enhancing and enabling Maori and Pasefika student success in Y13 Vocational Pathway education courses.
  • Creating effective partnerships with parents and whānau through 21st C reporting
  • Strengthening Te Tiriti o Waitangi Partnership by Improving Teacher Capability
  • Implementation of a school wide Learner Agency Framework
  • Implementation of digital technologies in school using social media apps to engage students
